Board-Certified Orthodontists in Atascadero & Paso Robles
Dr. Laura Pulver
Dr. Laura earned both her B.S. in Biology and her DDS at the University of Michigan, graduating on the Dean’s List, then completed an orthodontic residency and a Master of Science in Dentistry at UT Health Houston. Her research on cone-beam CT imaging sharpened her skills in digital treatment planning and helped pave the way for today’s custom 3-D-printed appliances.
Now a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Laura stays active in continuing education and often lectures on airway-friendly expanders and aesthetic aligner techniques. Patients value her calm chair-side manner and motherly attention to comfort, which turns even complex cases into smooth, confidence-building experiences.
Dr. Ross Pulver
Dr. Ross holds a Biology degree from UCLA and a DDS from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He went on to complete an orthodontic residency and a Master of Science in Oral Biology, earning the AAO’s Thomas M. Graber Award for his research on adult palatal expansion, work later published in a peer-reviewed journal.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, Dr. Ross fuses high-level expertise with hometown warmth. He volunteers at local school dental screenings and is known for clear explanations and hands-on care that keep patients informed, comfortable, and excited about their new smiles.
