Why It’s Hard to Pin Down an Exact Price
The cost of braces can vary quite a bit from patient to patient, depending on factors like:

Across the U.S., orthodontic treatment typically ranges from around $3,000 to $8,000, but your actual investment will depend on your individual needs. Because every smile is different, we provide a personalized treatment plan—and price—after your free consultation.
Making Treatment Affordable for Everyone
North County Orthodontics believes that cost should never stand in the way of a healthier, more confident smile. That’s why we offer:
- In-house financing at 0% interest
- No credit checks
- Low down payments (as little as $300 to start)
- Affordable monthly payments (often $200 or less)
We also accept most PPO dental insurance plans and are in-network with several providers. Our team will handle the paperwork for you and work to make sure you receive your maximum benefits.
Our Updated Payment Policy
To keep treatment on track, we encourage all patients to set up automatic payments. This helps avoid late fees and ensures uninterrupted care.
- Late payments: If payment is more than 15 days late, a $25 late fee will be charged each month until the account is current.
- Treatment suspension: Accounts over 90 days past due will have treatment paused. We will address oral hygiene and orthodontic emergencies, but active treatment will not continue until the balance is paid.
- Treatment dismissal: Accounts more than 120 days past due will be dismissed from the practice, with emergency care only available for 30 days.
